Who we are
Our website address is https://1aiagency.com. The site is run by OneAIAgency LLC, an AI consulting and implementation business based in Iowa. You can reach us at alex@1aiagency.com.
This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. We’ve kept it short because we don’t collect much.
What we collect when you visit
We use Burst Statistics, a WordPress analytics plugin, to see how the site gets used: which pages people read, how they found us, and where visitors get stuck. We run it in its cookieless mode and we’ve turned on its Do Not Track setting.
In practice that means:
- Burst doesn’t set a tracking cookie in your browser and doesn’t store a visitor profile on your device.
- If your browser sends a Do Not Track request, Burst ignores your visit completely. Nothing about it is recorded.
- For everyone else, Burst records the pages you view, the page you came from (the referrer), how long you stayed, and how far you scrolled. It also records your browser, operating system and device type (desktop, tablet or phone), and your country.
- Burst uses your IP address only for a moment, to work out your country and to tell one visit from another on the same day. Its documentation says no IP addresses are kept in its database.
- Because Burst has no cookie to recognize you with, it can’t follow you from one day to the next. A returning visitor looks like a new one.
- The data stays in our own WordPress database. It isn’t sent to Burst or to any other analytics company, and we don’t use it for advertising.
We don’t use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or social media trackers.
Contact form
If you send a message through the form on our Contact page, we collect the name, email address, company (optional), service you’re interested in, and message you type in. We use these to reply to you and for nothing else.
The form is delivered by Web3Forms. It sends your message to alex@1aiagency.com, and Web3Forms keeps a copy of the submission in our account on its service. Web3Forms’ own privacy policy covers how it handles that copy.
If you email us directly, we keep that email in our normal business mailbox.
Comments
Our site doesn’t have a comments section, so we don’t collect comments, and no commenter data is sent to Gravatar or any similar service.
Media
Our site doesn’t accept uploads from visitors. If you send us a file by email, we use it only for the work you asked about.
Cookies
Our analytics doesn’t use cookies, as described above. The site has no login for visitors, so it sets no sign-in cookies. WordPress may set a temporary cookie for site administrators when we log in to edit the site. Visitors don’t receive it.
Because we don’t use cookies for tracking or advertising, the site doesn’t show a cookie banner.
Embedded content and outside services
The site doesn’t embed videos, social feeds or maps. Two outside services do touch your visit:
- Fonts. The site’s text is set in Plus Jakarta Sans and Space Grotesk, which load from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google’s privacy policy applies to that request.
- Booking a call. Our “Book a call” buttons open Calendly in a new tab. Nothing is shared with Calendly until you click, and once you’re on its page, Calendly’s privacy policy applies to whatever you enter there. When you book, Calendly collects your name and email address and sends them to us.
Links to other sites (such as our LinkedIn page) work the same way: once you click through, that site’s own policy applies.
Who we share your data with
We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising. Your data reaches only the services that run the site: our website host, Web3Forms for the contact form, Calendly if you book a call, and Google Fonts for typography. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we retain your data
Analytics data holds no names, emails or IP addresses, so there’s nothing in it that identifies you personally. We keep it for as long as it’s useful for understanding how the site is used.
Contact form messages and emails stay in our mailbox and in Web3Forms while we’re working with you, and afterward for as long as we need them for business records. If you ask us to delete your message, we will.
What rights you have over your data
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The only personal information we usually hold is what you sent us through the contact form, a booking or an email. Write to alex@1aiagency.com and we’ll respond. This doesn’t cover anything we’re required to keep for legal, tax or security reasons.
To opt out of analytics, turn on Do Not Track in your browser settings. Burst will then skip your visits entirely.
Where your data is sent
Contact form messages go to Web3Forms and then to our email. Booking details go to Calendly. Font requests go to Google. Analytics data stays on our own website and isn’t sent anywhere else.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site collects data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
